Event Features:
Magical ambiance featured outdoors in the Courtyard Area with indoor availability in the Castle.
Live entertainment throughout the evening. Featuring actors, interpretive dance, live music, special features by the Madrigals, fire performance, mermaids, faeries, & more.
Champagne fountain flowing for you and all your friends.
Decadent charcuterie in the Great Hall featuring exotic fruits, meat, delicate cheeses, and jams curated by Hazel's Café.
A special brew thanks to Ogle County Brewery. All beer donations benefit Stronghold.
Costumes encouraged. A magical evening based on the Shakespeare play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” We’re inviting the kingdoms of Fae and man together for one magical evening at the castle.

We are raising funds to support Stronghold Camp & Retreat Center in Oregon, Illinois and we need your help!
The last few years have been difficult for Stronghold Castle located at 1922 IL-2 N, Oregon, IL. With rising costs and unanticipated doubling of insurance expenses, they have been challenged to generate the funds necessary for continued improvements and maintenance of the castle and grounds.
In an effort to create positive cash flow and help maintain attractions that benefit the entire area, Stronghold would like to invite you to sponsor and attend the 2024 Midsummer Night’s Masquerade. A magical evening based on the Shakespeare play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” We’re inviting the kingdoms of Fae and man together for one magical evening at the castle.

2022 Together We Raised..
Keeping with Strong tradition of being gracious hosts, they celebrated with champagne, fire performances, dancers, fairies, and more! Producers of the event, Vos Marketing and Events and Candace Rivera of Hazel's Cafe, presented a check for the amount of $3,565.01 to Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center board member Howard Strong (a descendant of the Strong family) and Executive Director Dr. Danny Pierce.
Oktoberfest Party!

Come out to Oregon on Saturday September 28th for our 4th Annual Oktoberfest Party! Stop out for authentic German fare, great beer, live music, games & prizes. Costumes are encouraged! Prost!
Ogle County Brewery is where it all started. They are brewing up fantastic OCB's Oktoberfest brew with German food & drink specials all day long. The party kicks into high gear at 4:00 pm with a ceremonial keg tapping by the Mayor of Oregon. Oktoberfest games, prizes, live German music, special menu, & of course great beer! ICostumes encouraged! Ogle County Brewery is located at 400 W Washington St Oregon, IL. We’ll have a few more surprises up our sleeves, so stay tuned for more. Can't wait to see you there!
